L’Hotel PortoBay São Paulo welcomes and receives its guests with a selection of chocolate fudge bars (brigadeiros) in the room on arrival . ..

Try the recipe for this chocolate treat, traditionally from Brazil, shared by chef Luiz Pinheiro.


Makes 50 brigadeiros

45 gr - butter 

1 kg - condensed milk

100 gr - cocoa powder

75 gr - granulated chocolate


Warm the pan on medium heat and add butter.

Add condensed milk.

Add cocoa powder and stir without stopping until it separates from the pan.

Pour the mixture into a container greased with butter.

Chill in the refrigerator for around one hour until it gains consistency.

Grease your hands with butter, roll into little balls, cover with granulated chocolate and serve cold.
